Background:
Viterbo University’s Center for Professional Learning offers world-class custom professional development experiences. This foundational certificate is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the field of wealth management.
This certificate will:
- Allow individuals to understand the role of the wealth manager, the services that are provided, and why customers would want these services.
- A better understanding of the compliance and legal framework firms in this industry operate under and how that affects the practice of wealth management.
- Assessment of how reputation is lost and acquired in the industry and how professional ethics play an important role in fostering and preserving firm reputational capital.
Who should attend?:
Individuals who work in the wealth management industry and want to increase their knowledge and skills within this industry.
Logistics:
This certificate program is comprised of three modules, 2-weeks each, comprised of 18 hours of learning. Each module will include lecture/learning videos, articles, discussion forums, and various assessment tools. Viterbo's online learning platform, Moodle, will be utilized for all modules of this certificate. The time commitment for program completion is 2-3 hours per week.

The total cost for the Certificate program is $1499 which includes online access to Viterbo's online learning platform, Moodle, as well as all course materials.
